NASHVILLE NEWS

News Flash: Thomas Flanery has made the move to Nashville, well actually I live just outside of Nashville. I really love it here and I can honestly say I have absolutly no regrets as far as the move. Ive already made a few new friends and am looking forward to making a whole lot more.
Nashville Im here to stay and I aint leaving till the good Lord calls me home.

I finally had the opportunity to fullfill a dream. Since I can remember I always dreamt of playing the Blue Bird Cafe in Nashville. After several attempts I finally passed the Blue Bird auditions and had my chance. On September the 18th 2005, with the help of my wife, and my cowriters, Jimmie Grokett and Wade Kilgore, I performed on a Sunday Night Writers Night.
Thanks to Jimmie and Wade along with our band Southern Tradition we made enough money off of our New CD sales to pay for this exciting and memorable trip.

I will be playing the Blue Bird again just check the show schedule. Please stop by and enjoy the show if you are in the neighborhood.

If your a songwriter this is such a cool place to be, you never can tell who you may meet. In fact I had the opportunity to meet one heck of a songwriter and a really nice guy, Scott White. Nashville better look out for this guy. Scott's material is definitly going to be chart toppers. I will add a link to his website on my links page. Stop by and give him a listen, you wont be disappointed.

All in all this was a great trip, had alot of fun, made some new friends and wrote a few new songs. Nashville can inspire a songwriter like you would not believe, and how could you not have a wonderful time when you turn three Texas natives loose in Tennessee with three guitars and a dream. I also want to thank the folks from BMI, Song Garden, Harlan Howards, Broken Bow Records, George McCain Music, Muy Bueno and all the other innocent bystanders that listened to our material. Thanks and we look forward to seeing you again, really soon.
